Let's make some eco-soap to create some summer vacation memories!

Eco-soap is an environmentally friendly product that makes effective use of soap scraps.

Number of participants: 10 people per session Please choose ① or ②

Cost: 1,000 yen (materials included, free drink and powdered soap recipe)

Deadline: July 21st (Monday, public holiday)

Draw your summer vacation memories of playing and exploring "Hometown Kikuchi" with friends and family!

Theme: "Summer Holiday Memories of Hometown Kikuchi"

Target: Elementary school students and younger *Limited to one piece per person.

Paper: Quarto or eighth-cut drawing paper or B3 drawing paper (36cm x 51cm) *Free length and width

How to apply: Attach the application form below the cut line to the back of your work

Application Deadline: Sunday, August 31, 2025, 4pm

*For group applications from schools, kindergartens, daycare centers, etc., please submit in an optional format

Please submit with a list (including the group name, name, furigana, and age).

Exhibition of works: This is not a contest, so works will be exhibited at the visitor's center once applications are accepted.

Exhibition Period: From application acceptance until November 3 (Monday, national holiday)

Participation prize: 12 colored pencils *First come, first served (100 people) Participation prize will be given to applicants upon application.

Other: In principle, submitted works will not be returned.

The right to use images of works and copyrights belong to the organizers.

Folk Duo Waltz Mini Concert

The other day (October 12th) at the Kikuchi Valley Visitor Center, Kikuchi was held for the fourth time this year. Resident folk dio “Waltz” held a mini concert♪ The combination of the valley location and the music played by Waltz was soothing ♪

Kikuchi Valley Pizza Baking Experience October 20th (Sun)

We held a pizza baking experience the other day (October 20th) at the Kikuchi Valley Visitor Center!

The first 40 people participated, both domestic and international, young and old, men and women!

Kikuchi Valley's great nature photo exhibition presentation

Work theme: Photos that allow you to feel the scenery and four seasons of Kikuchi Valley! !

Target: Anyone can apply, regardless of whether they are professionals or amateurs.

Memories of summer vacation spent walking around and having fun in "Furusato Kikuchi" with friends and family!

Since this is not a contest, we will display the entries at the visitor center as soon as we receive the entries.

Scheduled exhibition period: Application reception - October 31st (Thursday)

On Sunday, July 28th, we held an "exploration event" that focused on observing plants within Kikuchi Valley. Five people, three adults, one university student, and one junior high school student, participated in this fun plant observation session, listening to explanations and talks from the prefectural forest instructors! In addition, we are currently accepting applications for the second exploration event on Sunday, August 25th (on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications will close as soon as capacity is reached), so we look forward to your participation.
